"Nostalgic Hawaii" from Current Music in The King Of Staten Island

Current Music Heard In The King Of Staten Island

Client: Universal Pictures

Universal Pictures and comedian and filmmaker Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up), present The King Of Staten Island, a semi-autobiographical dramedy about “Scott” (comedy superstar Pete Davidson of Saturday Night Live, Trainwreck…) and his life, after losing his firefighter father at age 7.  In this male coming-of-age story, he navigates his 20s as a slacker, hanging with a pack of pot smoking friends and dreaming of being a tattoo artist until events revolving around his Mom (played by the Oscar winning Marisa Tomei), starting to date a rambunctious firefighter named Ray (played by fellow stand-up comic Bill Burr), force him to look reality in the eye and grow up.

Current Music exclusively represents world music label Dennis Music International (Ethnic Series) for licensing in all media, worldwide. Listen for this fun “on location” Hawaiian recording in the film – and in the link below:
