The Sympathizer (HBO)

The Sympathizer, based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Vietnamese-American professor and writer Viet Thanh Nguyen, is the story of a of a French-Korean mole living in the US, during the Viet Nam War.  The HBO mini-series based on the novel, stars Robert Downey Jr. playing multiple roles.

Current Music arranged the piece “You’re A Grand Old Flag” by George M. Cohen, for dixieland band for a scene where a Senator (played by Robert Downey Jr.) gives a patriotic speech at his house at a Garden Party.
