80's favorite Molly Ringwald stars with Joey King in a new Netflix original film, The Kissing Booth.

The romantic movie will follow 16 year old Elle Evans as she embarks on a love story with her crush after receiving her first kiss at a carnival kissing booth. The film is an adaptation of Beth Reekles' Ya novel and is currently shooting in South Africa.

For scenes in 1980s flashbacks to a video game arcade, the filmmaker needed two songs, an original and a cover. Recapturing that sound and voicing the era was handled perfectly by one of Current Music's go-to artists, pop EDM group, SIKORA. Current Music also provided a brand new version of the iconic "Hey Mickey," performed by the talented artist Brooke Villany, for a high school scene.
