Old Navy Kids Table

"Kids Table", starring the Portlandia actors and comedians Carrie Brownstein & Fred Armisen, is a short film that was cut into commercial lengths and ran during the Christmas holiday season.  Playing the "grownups", who were forced to sit at the kids table because of their poor taste in clothes, they learn a lesson from the wise child - who is probably a figment of their imagination. 

To achieve the magic of the season, we were tasked to produce an original score that was reminiscent of sentimental, orchestral magical Christmas film scores, but with a comedic twist.  With lush angelic voices, sweeping strings, warm horns, tubular bells and some tinkly chimes and pizzicato strings in order to punctuate the comedic aspect of the scene, the festive, holiday party atmosphere was set.
